Team Affairs:

We had no games at adult level this week, which gives our lads a chance to get back into serious training and recover from any niggling injuries. Next Sunday we host Donaghmoyne in the Intermediate League at 2:30 pm. On Wednesday next we play Truagh in the reserve League Division 3 at home.

U-14:

Our under 14 match has been rescheduled from Saturday morning to Monday evening @ 7:30 pm. Come along and support our lads, as this is their first year in division 1 football.

Minors:

Our minor squad are taking a well earned rest for the students preparing for the State Examinations. We wish them all the best in their studies and hope to see them flying fit at the end of June when the competition resumes.

Alzheimer Society:

The Co Monaghan branch of the alzheimer’s society are holding a dance in the complex on Friday 17th June. All support appreciated. Music by Easy Touch.

Traditional Music:

Our Irish Music session took place last Friday 13th May. Again, this was a very successful & most enjoyable night, were we hosted not only our local talent but also musicians from Monaghan CCE. A huge thanks to all participants!

As this is an on-going venture, and judging by how well these sessions are going down, we’ll continue to occupy the 2nd Friday of the month. So going forward, our next session is scheduled for Friday 10th June, 9pm sharp. More details to follow!
