Lotto Result. The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 23rd May were 3, 5, 24 and 25. The Jackpot of 6,700 euro was not won. The Lucky Dip winners were Eugene and Marian, c/o Burns, Shercock, Peter Mooney, Carrickmacross, Archie Harper, Carrickmacross and Nuala Bloone, Inniskeen.

The Jackpot next week will be 6,800 euro.

Senior Team. The Reserve team were in action on Wednesday evening   when they hosted Castleblayney in the reverse fixture of last week’s encounter. They face a busy period as they have a number of vital games in the coming weeks. On Sunday 29th the team travels to Latton for a league game with the early throw-in time of 12.00 while on June 1st the O’Duffy Cup commences with a trip to Doohamlet. This game has a 7.30 starting time.

The Senior League continued on Sunday when Latton were the visitors to Magheracloone. In a game played in less than perfect conditions it was the visiting team that claimed the points on offer. The final score read Magheracloone 0-9…..Latton 1-13.

Juvenile Affairs. The U-14 team travel to Cremartin on 31st May with the game due to commence at 7.00. As the state examination season starts the U-16 and minor teams will have a break from football.

Best Wishes. The chairman and executive of the club would like to take this opportunity to extend best wishes to all members undertaking exams in the coming weeks.

Ulster Championship. Monaghan County Board have informed all clubs that the upcoming championship game versus Tyrone is not an all-ticket game. Tickets may be purchased for the covered stand for this game which will be played on Sunday 5th June. Eleven hundred tickets are available to Monaghan supporters and may be ordered through the club secretary. In the case of Magheracloone supporters, the person to contact is PJ McCahey.  PJ will accept orders until five o’clock on Sunday 29th May as this is the final date and time for the secretary to place applications with the County Board.

The prices are as follow: Covered Stand..27 euro, Covered Stand (Senior Citizens)…15 euro, Covered Stand (Child in Family Section)…5 euro. Entry to the Terracing will be 15 euro with U-16 supporters free of charge.

VHI Cul Camps. The official launch of the VHI Cul Camps took place in Cloghan on Thursday 24th May. These camps provide excellent activities for the young people of the county during the summer holidays. Full details of venues and dates will be available after the launch.
