Latton GFC Notes – Week Beginning May 2nd 2011

  • Lotto

Sunday 1st May – Lotto was held in Paddy Lynchs Bar Lisnalong. Winning numbers drawn: 13 – 15 – 21 – 26 Bonus No 1. No Jackpot Winner. €20 winners: Aidan Farmer, Latton – Joey Clegg, Rockcorry – Niall Donaghy, Ballybay – Jack & Ben Traynor, Ballybay – The Duffy Family, Keenoghduff.

The presentation of the cheque to the last week’s jackpot winner, Peadar Donaghy, Knocknamaddy, Ballybay, will take place this Saturday night in the centre.

Thanks for your continued support. The 25-week tickets are on sale from any committee member.

  • Senior Football

Our Reserves played last night (Wednesday) away to Scotstown. Check elsewhere for result.

Seniors beat neighbours Doohamlet by a point in a closely-contested game last Sunday. They’re in action again this Sunday afternoon away to Blayney at 2.30pm. Please note that this game will possibly be in the Blackhill venue.

  • Minor Football

After a convincing home win over Magheracloone, the Minors had a bye last Tuesday night.

  • Juvenile Football

The Under 12s next game is away to Toome on Saturday 14th at 12pm.

The Under 14s play their next league away to Eire Óg on Saturday May 7th at 12pm.

The Under 16s have a home game v Sean McDermotts on Thursday May 5th at 7pm.

  • All-Ireland Championship Preview Night

This Saturday (May 7th) we play host to some of today’s best footballers along with some past legends in an in-depth questions & answers session. This is an opportunity not to be missed where Peter Canavan, Oisin McConville, Bryan Cullen, Seanie Johnston & local stars Paul Finlay & Owen Lennon will come to the centre to deliberate this year’s Championship in an open forum led by compere Adrian Logan.
