Doohamlet GFC Notes

Seniors: Truagh 0-12 Doohamlet 0-08

Doohamlet travelled to Truagh on Saturday evening last and suffered a heavy defeat against the locals. Played in torrential rain and a strong wind throughout Doohamlet struggled with the conditions and found scores very hard to come by. The home side on the other hand were very impressive with their shooting and picked off points with ease. Glen Comiskey in midfield was our most impressive player on show with Shane J. Connolly also outstanding in defence.

We now have a break from league football with the County concentrating on their upcoming Ulster Championship and hopefully the players will re-focus and maybe see the return of some of our injured players before the league resumes.
