U12 Team: Recently the team lost to a very strong Aghabog team by a considerable margin. The best team won on the day, nevertheless both teams played good football.

Intermediate League: Currin V Aughnamullen. A game that was expected to be tough, turned out to be a great game for Currin who won : Currin 2-17 Aughnamullen 0-7.
The game started with Currin playing with the wind and looked as if they were going to struggle to get a result. Dick Clerkin hit the post after 3 minutes, the ball was collected by Gareth Beattie who put the ball over the bar. Ten minutes later Steven Smith added another point from a free kick. From then on Currin was not at their best and only managed to get six points clear at halftime. The second half was a different game. Currin started with a much improved attitude to the game, their passes foud their target and players supported each other. Philip O’Callaghan scored a goal and this helped the players confidence. The whole team played the best football seen for a while and shows why they are at the top of their league. Eight of the players gained points, Stephen Smith gaining six points and Dick Clerkin four. As a final flourish and excellent team effort the ball got to Ben Clerkin who smashed it into the far side of the goal leaving the goalkeeper standing and the supporters in raptures.
A great result and a great game to watch. Well done the team and their coaches.
