On a cold evening in Monaghan, Currin were up against a strong organised team. Many of the Currin regular lads were not available because of work commitments. Harps on the other hand have a large club and therefore many subs.
Nevertheless the game was played in good spirit and our lads gave of their best. The wind was a factor in many attempts going wide for both teams, but Harps coped better. Ciaran McCaffrey played well scoring six points. In midfield Daragh Brady was outstanding and scored one point.
