CREMARTIN CLUB NOTES

Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on Sunday 1st May.  Numbers Drawn were: 4-6-10-21.  Lucky Dip Winners: Cormac McNally, Cordevlin, Alan Tarrant, Annagh, Lorraine Brady, Clarderry, Frankie & Ann Mooney, Drumgriston, and Patricia Brennan, Mulladuff.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next.  Anyone wishing to prepay their yearly Shalotto can do so for €100. Please contact any Committee member.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Reserves: We were defeated by Magheracloone on Wednesday evening last on a scoreline of Cremartin 0-6 Magheracloone 1-13.  Team and scores: Brian McEneaney, Conor Mulligan, Martin McNally, Eanna Atkinson, Declan Mulligan, Fergal Mulligan, Colm Boyd, Barry Carragher, Gerard Malone, Liam McVicar, Paul McNally, Ryan Carragher, James Leonard, Michael Morgan and Johnny Farrelly.  Subs: Mark Bishop, Gregory Flanagan and Noel Boyd.

Fixtures:

Senior Team: We are away to Blackhill on Sunday 8th May at 5.00 p.m.

Reserve Team: We are away to Truagh on Sunday 15th May next at 2.30 p.m.

Minor League: We are at home to Aughnamullen on Tuesday 10th May next at 7.45 p.m.

U-16: We are away to St. Macartan’s tonight Thursday 5th May next at 7.00 p.m.

U-12: We are at home to Drumhowan on Saturday 14th May at 12.00 noon.

Gaeltacht Scholarships

Coiste Chontae Mhuineachain is this year again sponsoring a number of Gaeltacht Scholarships to Colaiste Bhride, Rann na Feirste, Co. Dun na nGall. The scheme is limited to boys and girls from County Monaghan who are attending secondary school and are aged between 13 and 15 years old this year. Interviews for the scholarships will be held in the C’Blayney Community Enterprise Centre on Saturday May 7th starting at 10.00am. COMPUTER CLASSES

Would you like to learn the basics or improve existing skills while using a computer?  Whether you are an apprehensive beginner approaching a computer for the first time or someone who is looking to upgrade their existing skills these courses are for you. Each course will run for 6 weeks and costs €60 which includes a course manual.  If you are interested and would like to enrol please contact Gerard Duffy on (086)8346534 as each class is limited to 12 persons. One to One lessons are also available. (Please note dates and times have not being finalised, to facilitate enrolee’s preferences).
