Take me out
St. Tiarnach’s GFC would like to thanks all those who attended the Clones GAA TAKE ME OUT fundraiser that was held on Saturday night in the Creighton Hotel.
We would particularly like to thanks the 30 ladies and 8men who provided the excellent entertainment on the night, we hope love blossoms for the nights couples.
Thank you also to all the nights sponsors, who generously donated to the event, your continued contribution to the club is greatly appreciated like always, and does not go unrecognised within the GAA community.
Thank you also to Jonathan Douglas (Swindon Town) and Mark Connolly (Bolton Wanderers) former Clones Gaels who donated their signed professional soccer shirts to our raffle and Dick Clerkin (Currin and Monaghan) who provided a signed Monaghan GAA jersey also for the raffle.
We hope everybody enjoyed the night.

Platinum Tanks – Reserve Football League
Clones 4-6 Aughnamullen 3-13

The U16s were unlucky on Thursday night against eire og who scored 1-4 before we got our first score, something we need to address? With some great scores coming from owen mc quaid , jordan dowds and sean cunningham we were just a point behind at half time, with a great display from jake reihill, kevin reilly , owen mc quaid and a couple of great saves from shane slowey we kept ourselves in touch, a goal from sean cunningham and another 4 points from owen we went 1 point ahead with 4 minutes left, eire og finished stronger to win by a point. lads there are a few positives we can take from this! we are still in third place, we have a strong team and with a better commitment from all the players, we will make up the ground as a team and get back to winning form!!
