Castleblayney Notes

May 31st, 2011

Seniors – The seniors are in action next Wednesday night when they face Magheracloone at 8.00PM.

Junior B The Bs had a bit of a slump over the last week. On Wednesday night last they drew with Magheracloone 2-06 each on a wet windy night not really conducive for good football and in a best forgotten performance on Sunday morning they lost to Truagh 1-16 to 0-06. Last night (Wednesday) they played Inniskeen in the B championship, result and report next week.

Junior C – The Junior Cs are also in Championship (Crawley Cup) action on Friday night when they play Killanny in Toomel.

County Teams – Best of luck to the county senior team who take on Tyrone in the Ulster Championship in Omagh on Sunday and commiserations to the minors who lost out to the same opposition last Sunday evening. We were represented by Fergal Malone, Paddy Finnegan, Paraic Greene and Barry Hanratty.
