All Ireland Final: Congratulations to Christopher Mc Kenna(D) and Terry Mc Elvaney from the Harps on reaching the Minor Doubles Final. The pair of boys were up against a Leinster pairing of Kildare duo, Niall O Connor and Robert Maguire. The first game was a tight fought battle with the boys winning 21-15. The Kildare men responded well in taking the second 15-21. With all to play for and some awesome play from both sets of players it was our boys who closed out the game and match finishing the 3rd 21-8. Even though Chris and Terry have played together on many occasions, spectators said this was probably one of their finest outings. They now play a Munster pairings in Kingscourt on Saturday the 23rd of April.

Hard luck: to Michael Todd and Michael Mc Carron on losing their All Ireland Emerald Masters A Semi-Final to Billy Mullens and Jim Kilfoyle of Offaly. The score was 21-7 21-12. Both players done well on the day and played well but had no problems in excepting the defeat to a better pairing on the day.

Club singles Finals:  soon to be played. Times will be notified via texts.

Club Doubles:  still have some outstanding matches and it is imperative these games are played .

Juveniles: As we prepare to bring the curtain down on the Juvenile season, we would like to thank all those who took part in the coaching of our young players and hope we can produce more like Christopher who will be challenging for titles on a regular basis. We are planning to bring all to a close on Thursday 14th April and would ask all new coaches of the coloured teams to have a short meeting after this session to assess how the new scheme operate for future preparations.
