Team Affairs:

Our Intermediate team travelled to Scotshouse to play the locals in the second round of the Intermediate League. It was a closely contested game with the Seans men coming out on the wrong side of the result. Played in near perfect conditions we went in at half-time with a six points to two deficit. We trawled ourselves back into contention and levelled matters to six points apiece. Currin took the upper hand from there on in and finished the stronger with a two point win. Final Score Sean mac Diarmada 0-7, Curin 0-9.

Minors:

Our minors take on Cuchulainns next Tuesday evening @7pm in Doohamlet

Ladies:

Tickets for Mr & Mrs which takes place on Easter Sunday night, are selling well and are still available from the local shops and ladies committee members.

Referees:

Anybody interested in taking up refereeing should contact the Chairman, Gerry Lynch as referee courses will be beginning soon. With nearly 800 juvenile matches alone to be refereed throughout the county this year, it is very important we have enough referees.

Juveniles:

All of our juvenile teams are up and running at this stage, players and parents should note times of training sessions as attendance is vitally important due to the leagues starting in the near future, indoor gear and outdoor gear should be taken to all sessions for the foreseeable future.

Under 14:

Our under 14’s have 2 matches this week, starting on Saturday away to Emyvale, then on Tuesday night they contest the semi-final of the division 1 championship in Carrickmacross @ 7pm. We wish them the best of luck.

Dancing Classes:

Dancing classes continue at the usual time. Ceile dancing on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Set dancing on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm also.
