Three Courses – Three Chances

Investec, in conjunction with the Monaghan GAA County Board are pleased to announce the inaugural Investec Monaghan Golf Challenge. Spearheaded by Paul McGinley, the challenge will take place over the summer months and the winners will play a round of golf with Paul at a venue to be decided.

There will be separate Ladies’ & Men’s competitions and the winning teams from the Qualifiers will progress to the Final to be played at Powerscourt Golf Club in Wicklow.

Format of Competition: Fourball Better Ball

GUI Handicap: Men: Max 22 Ladies: Max 32

Clones Golf Club 25 & 26 June (Men) €20pp

23 June (Ladies)

Concra Wood Golf 14 & 15 August (Men) €25pp

& Country Club 22 August (Ladies)

Tee Times can be booked with each club.

Rules

Scoring is by Stableford.

3/4 the handicap to be used by each competitor.

Shots to be taken on the relevant indices.

In the event of a tie normal golfing rules apply.

Check for local rules on the day.

Qualifiers

Top 4 Mens Teams and Top 4 Ladies teams in each event will qualify for the Final at Powerscourt.

Daily Prizes will also be presented.

In addition, for those participating in all 3 qualifying events, the top 4 Mens teams and top 4 Ladies

teams with the best aggregate scores will also qualify.
