Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League
Tyholland 2-4 Drumhowan 0-9
Despite holding their opponents scoreless in the second half, our reserves went down by the narrowest of margins to Tyholland on Saturday evening last. Two early goals conceded in the first half proved too great of a challenge to overcome despite a spirited second half performance. Good to see Matthew back in the club colours as custodian of the nets and by all accounts made an impressive return. Enda Duffy will have to watch out as he may pick himself for the first team.
Fixtures
Intermediate Team
Our intermediate team play Aughnamullan in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League at McKeown Park on Sunday next 17th at 2.30pm. This local derby should produce a great game of football and there is unlikely to be much in it at the end. A large attendance of partisan supporters from both clubs, augmented by many outsiders, is expected. Best wishes and good luck to players and management.
Minors
St Pats play Blayney at McKeown Park on Tuesday 19th in the GRM minor football league. Throw in is at 7.00pm
