Seniors – The senior’s good form continued on Saturday last with a comfortable 0-13 to 0-06 victory over near neighbours Doohamlet last Saturday evening. Blayney started poorly and trailed by 4 points to 1 after 20 minutes but once they found their stride a succession of well taken points ensured they claimed the spoils. This Friday night they travel to Ballybay for a 7.30PM throw-in.

Junior B – The Bs played Clontibret last night (Wednesday), score and match report next week. Next Wednesday night they play Cremartin (away) at 19.45PM.

Junior C – The Junior Cs returned to winning ways on Easter Sunday with a 2-15 to 3-04 win over Aghabog.

Minors – The minors had two useful victories in the last seven days, first they overcame St Patricks by 1-09 to 0-06 and on Tuesday of this week they beat Carrickmacross on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-09 with the highlight being the 2 goals scored by Pauric Greene on his return from injury. Next Tuesday evening they travel to Clontibret for a top of the table clash (7.30PM).

Texas Hold’em Poker – The Texas hold’em night in Corrigans recently was a huge success with 70 playing on the night. After a long night on the tables the 1st prize was split between Gareth Carville and Ian Hutchinson, many thanks to all those who supported the event.

U12 – The U12s play away to Truagh this Saturday at 1.00PM.

U10/U8/U6 – Training continues on Thursday evenings at usual times and venues.
Circuit Training – Faughs man Marc Loughman is taking circuit training classes in the Scout Hall on Tuesday and now due to demand Thursday nights. The classes start at 8.30PM on both nights and are open to men and women; cost is €5 per night. Marc can be contacted at 0879489207.

Lotto – Lotto numbers for the week ending 18th April 2011 were 05, 13, 23 and 28. There was no Jackpot winner; one person matched 3 numbers to win €150; Seamus Doherty, c/o McGuigan Motors. Next week’s jackpot is €11,000.
