LADIES

Carrickmacross ladies club would like to thank everyone who supported our Cookery Demonstration in the Catholic hall on Thursday last. We want to thank the Chef Frank Moynihan and his assistant Henry who done a wonderful job. We also want to thank the parish for the use of the hall and Noleen Fitzsimons who set it up. Last but not least we say well done to our wonderful committee for their hard work, Sean’s Deli and Mc Menamins shops for selling our tickets.

Our football season is back on and our reserves lost out to Corduff on Saturday last in Killanny. We play Doohamlet away next week and hope to have everyone back. The under 14s play O Neill Shamrocks this Monday in the Feile competition away in Clontibret. The under 16s have a home match on Thursday against Aghabog.

Our club would like to congratulate the St Louis senior under 20 team on reaching the All-Ireland final. They now play the final on Saturday next and we wish them the best of luck. Hard luck to the under 16 team who lost out in their semi-final to St Josephs of Navan.
