Lotto numbers drawn on Sunday night last were 23,11,24,1. There was no winner

Lucky dip winners were Alice Hannaway, Thomas Meegan, James Bannigan, Patrick Deery, Tom King, Paddy Flanagan, Simon Forde, Eileen Keenan, Brendan & Anita Finnegan and Paul Duffy. Next weeks jackpot stands at €9,900 and the draw will take place on Sunday night in the Social Centre.

Seniors play near neighbours Drumhowan away on Saturday evening at 7pm. Training continues on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8pm.

Reserves played Rockcorry away on Friday evening last and came out on top with a brilliant performance. Aughnamullen started brightly kicking 5 unanswered points in the opening 15min through Mark Mc Ardle 2, Eddie Mc Ardle 2 and Thomas Finnegan before Rockcorry got off the mark in the 18min. Mark Mc Ardle and Thomas Finnegan added two more points before half time to leave the score Aughnamullen 0-7 Rockcorry 0-1. Rock opened the scoring after the restart but Aughnamullen hit back with 2 scores from Eddie Mc Ardle and Mickey Keenan. The home side hit a purple patch and kicked 5 points in 8mins to reduce the deficit to 2 before Eddie Mc Ardle and Mark Mc Ardle pointed to put the away side back in control. Both sides then exchanged points, with Aughnamullens coming from Mark Mc Ardle again before James Keenan sealed the win to leave a F/T score of Aughnamullen 0-13 Rockcorry 0-8. Minors played Inniskeen away last week and put in a great performance. Inniskeen opened the scoring before Colin Clerkin and Keith Sheridan scored for Aughnamullen. Inniskeeen kicked a free to level the scores before Clerkin, Niall McShane, Shane McGuirk, Shane Conlon and Gavin Corrigan put the away side in front by 5. The Grattans finished the first half strong and out scored Aughnamullen 1-3 to 0-2  both our scores coming from Clerkin to leave Aughnamullen 0-9 Inniskeen 1-5. The home side got back on level terms after the break before Conlon and Clerkin put Aughnamullen back in front. Inniskeen hit two points but Conlon and Clerkin again stretched the lead to 4 points before the home side hit 1-1 without reply to set up an exciting final 5 min. Scorers in cheif, Conlon and Clerkin put the away side back in front by 2 before Inniskeen hit their 3rd goal to put them in front going into stoppage time, but Corrigan had the final say and levelled the scores from a free. Under 14s played Clones In the first round of the Championship and came out on top on a scoreline of Aughnamllen 5-11 Clones 2-12. Everyone played their part with Kevin Sheridan making some fine saves, Full back Stephen Geoghegan scored 2 points and was well assisted by Jamie Marron, Wing halfs Ryan Bannigan and Packie Marron played well with Shane Lambe(0-1) at centre half back was outstanding. Caolain Connolly and Alan Markey(0-1) marshelled midfield well with the half forward line of Kieran Marron, Conal Treanor and Aaron Bannigan setting up a lot of attacks. Micheal Bannigan(2-6) and Stephen McGee(3-1) gave an exhibition of scoring in the full forward line registering 5-7 between them while Kieran Duffy came off the bench to play his part in a well deserved victory. they are now in  the semi-final of the championsip and will play Ballybay on the 26th of April.

Fund Raising we are holding a race night on Saturday 16th of April in the centre, starting time is 9.30pm as there is a Senior game away to Drumhown at 7pm and all are invited back to the centre directly after the game for light refreshments before the race night begins.

Sympathy is extended to  the Duffy family, Carrickduff on the death of their infant cousin in liverpool recently.
