Results:

Seniors: Aghabog 1-05
Clones 1-11. Another disappointing result on Saturday evening. A poor first
half left us with a mountain to climb and despite showing good spirit in the
second period, Clones always held the edge.

Junior Bs: Castleblayney
2-15 Aghabog 3-04. Our reserve squad
suffered their first defeat of the season going down to a strong Catleblayney
outfit in St Mary’s Park on Sunday morning last. Leading at the break, our lads
lost their way somewhat in the second half with the result being that Blayney
ran out convincing winners in the end. It should be noted that no less than
twelve of our reserve squad were also in action on Saturday evening for the
senior team. Whilst not seeking to make any excuses, question marks must surely
be raised as to how the powers that be at county level saw fit to play both
games within such a tight timeframe. At best, it’s a careless decision, at
worst it shows a blatant disregard for those clubs working from a small pool of
players.

Fixtures:

Seniors: Aghabog vs
Emyvale on Fri 29th at 7:30pm in Emyvale.

Juvenile Affairs:

Under 10s:

Our U10 team

28th in Aghabog with throw in at 7pm.
