Seniors: We travelled to Corduff on Friday last for our second league encounter of the year. It was an even start with both sides finding the target early on. Corduff then hit 2 in a row to lead by 2 after the first quarter. We managed to get back on level terms through some accurate place kicking and where unlucky not to have got a couple more scores. Corduff then hit a purple patch that was to give them a cushion for the remainder of the game. Two goals in the space of a 3 min period left us with a mountain to climb. The second half began as the first with both teams adding to their tally but again midway though the half Corduff took over and we had no answers. Corduff ran out deserved winners but hopefully we a few of our injured players back in June we will give them a better run come Championship time.

Team: Paul Hand, Fergal Sheridan, Dara McCluskey, Darren McMahon, Niall Cadden, Colin Casey, Sean Flynn, Alan McGorman, Mark McBride, Enda Doran, Christopher McGorman, Mathew McQuaid, Paddy Skeath, Pauric McKenna, Paddy Croarkin. Subs: Paddy Sweeney for Alan McGorman, Aidan McMahon for Paddy Croarkin.

Junior B’s: We headed or our neighbours for the delayed start to the Junior B’s. After a frantic search for players we started the game and perhaps should have stayed in the dressing room with the home side having much the better of things outscoring us by 5 points going into the break and could have been worse only for some last ditch defending and superb goalkeeping keeping the score down. The second half saw a vast improvement on the first and we managed to claw the deficit back to the minimum only for us to let the game away from us after Aghabog broke to find the back of our net to finish us off. Some positives can be had from the game especially the performance of some of the newer players to the panel.

Team: Eddie Johnston, Darren McMahon, Christopher McGorman, Adrian Flynn, Aidan Leonard, Mathew McQuaid, Pauric Nolan, Alan McGorman, Paddy Sweeney, Ambrose Doran, Declan Doran, Aidan McMahon, Fergal Sheridan, Keith Nulty, Andrew McMahon.
