Seniors:  Doohamlet Seniors have yet to kick a ball in anger in 2011 but a hectic fixture schedule ahead for our Senior team in April

We kick off our league campaign with a home fixture against Monaghan Harps on Sunday 17th April and this is the first of 5 games in thirteen days.

Sunday 17th April    Doohamlet v Monaghan Harps @ Home   Throw In   2.30pm 

Wednesday 20th April   Doohamlet v Inniskeen @  Home   Throw In   7pm       

Sunday 24th April    Doohamlet v Blayney   Away   Throw In   2.30pm

Reserves:   Our Reserve team still await their first league points and face three games over the next two weeks.

Fundraising Presentation Night:    Our recent  Fundraising Dinner proved a magnificient success when over 200 people attended Ballybay Social Centre.  Guests of Honour on the night were our U14 Double Winners 2010 and our Intermediate Championship Winners.  County Chairman Paul Curran and Ulster Vice  President Martin McAviney spoke eloquently and MC for the night Andrea O’Connor must be commended for her duties on the night.  Thank You to all who contributed to this venture and our Chairman John Doran for making this event such a success.

Meeting:  A committe meeting will be held in the Clubrooms tonight Thursday @ 8.30pm.

Juveniles:  All Juveniles and Youth players are asked to check official fixture last in the local press or go online to the new Monaghan GAA Website (www.monaghangaa.ie)

Well Done to the our U14’s who played Aughnamullen last weekend.   The players must be commended for their excellent display, eight of our team are 12 years and under. 

Final Score:   Aughnamullen 5-12 Doohamlet 3-14.
