STRICTLY COME DANCING

The launch night of Strictly Come Dancing was a great success last Friday night.  The dancers have now been revealed and are as follows;

Tickets for the show on 15th April in the Nuremore hotel are priced at 15euro and are available at Rorys Retro sweets, Revival Beauty (Louise Steele) Parnell St, Marron family butchers Carrick shopping centre, Nallos bar and lounge, Shevlins Bar and lounge, Birdys newsagents, Cuts & Curls (Mary Quigley) hairdressing salon Parnell St. Show will start at 8pm sharp, doors open at 7pm. YOUNG STARS EASTER CAMP

The very popular Carrick Emmets “Young Stars” GAA camp is returning with a 3 day easter camp which will take place on 27,28 and 29 April in Emmet Park, Carrickmacross.  All children from age 5 to 13 welcome.  Cost 1st child 25 euro (or 20 euro if paid before 15th April), 2nd child 20 euro.  Forms available in Birdys newsagents, Carrickmacross

 

FARNEY FUN RUN

The first “Farney Fun Run” took place on Sunday last.  A large number of runners and walkers took part making it a great success.  We hope to make this an annual event so keep up the training for next year!

 

JUNIOR Bs                               

Our junior b team had a good win over Donaghmoyne on Saturday last.  Next outing is away to Inniskeen on Tuesday 15th March.

HANDBALL

Congratulations to Terry Kiernan who retained his Ulster Junior A handball title on Saturday last.  He defeated Paul Shields of Clonduff Co. Down in a final which went to 3 games 21-19, 6-21 and 21-15.  Well done Terry from all at the club.
