Cumann Peile na Sairsealaigh Cill Laobhain

Club Notes – 10/02/11

Corn Cuimhneacháin/Dan Thompson Memoiral Cup.

Beidh cluichí le himirt fá choinne an corn seo de Domhnaigh. This Sunday 13^th February will see the first playing of the Dan Thompson memorial cup. Killeevan, Aghabog, Currin and Clones will play in the 2 semi-finals and then final to see who will be the first holder. Beidh réalt Carraí, Paul Galvin ann ar an lá. Kerry star Paul Galvin will be there on the day to help out. All funds raised will go to Cavan Cardiac Care. Tá na himeachtaí ag tosú ag 1:30in. The action starts at 1:30pm.

Clárú/Registration.

Tá sé in am anois clárú fá choinne 2011. It time once again to register again as members of the club for 2011. Adult membership is €20 and juvenile €5. Bí i dteagmháil leis an Cláraitheoir Kevin Quail. Contact Kevin as soon as possible. Go raibh maith agaibh.

Poker Bliantúil/Annual poker

Dáta eile fá choinne an dialann. Good Friday 22^nd April will see the club’s second annual Poker classic. Arís níos mó eolais le teacht. Further details nearer to the date.

Cruinniú Aos Óg/Juvenile Meeting

Cruinniú tabhachtach fá choinne an blian amach romhainn. Important Juvenile Meeting on Friday night the 11th @ 8pm in the club rooms. All juvenile coaches along with anyone interested in becoming involved with a team or feel they could help out in any way for the coming year. Bígí ann

Scuad forbatha Faoi 14/U14 development Squad

Tá trialanna fá choine an scuad seo ar an Sathairn. Trails for this Squad will take on Sat the 12th Feb from 10am -12noon. Important to note that this is for players born after the 1st January in 1997 and before the 31st December 1997 transport will be leaving Martins shop at 9.15 sharp. Ádh mór do gach duine atá ag dul ar an lá.

Traenáil/Training

Tá traenáil fá choinne F-14ú agus F-16ú ann gach Domhnach i bPáirc Astro na Sairsealaigh. Training continues on the Astro pitch on Sunday evenings for u-14 s between 6-7 with u-16 s between 7-8 o’clock

Sports First Aid Training Course

Cúrsa fíor thabhachtach don club agus an h-imreoirí go léir. The course will take place at Ballybay GAA complex over two days Sat. 19^th & Sat. 26^thFebruary. Anyone within the Club who may be interested in helping out with first aid for Senior, Junior B or one of the Juvenile teams and wish to attend this course, contact Darren or Minor ASAP as places or limited.

Scor Sinsir.

Ár mbuíochas d’achan duine a ghlac páirt i Scor Sinsir in Ard Achaidh an Aoine seo caite. Many thanks to all who took part in senior Scor last Friday. The next round takes place in Clontibret Friday 18^th at 8pm. Ádh mó do Sarah McGuigan ar an oíche sin. Best of luck to Sarah McGuigan who will represent the club in the recitation on that night.
