Scor Sinsear

Congratulations to all our competitors who won through to the county final in Clontibret on Friday 18th February next.  We have five acts through to the final in the following categories; figure dancing, solo signing, recitation, novelty act and quiz team.  We wish all our competitors the very best of luck in the final and encourage our members to go along to Clontibret and give them the support they richly deserve.  Curtain up in Clontibret at 8pm sharp.

A number of training and development sessions in connection with coaching at club level is being provided through the Monaghan coach training and development programme 2011 over the months of February to April under the guidance of a number of highly qualified coaches.  Topics will include the development of a club coaching structure, coaching the coaches, fitness with football and attacking play.  The club encourages all those in charge of teams at the club or anybody with an interest in coaching to attend.  Further details are displayed on the notice board in the club rooms or alternatively, may be had by contacting Paul O’Connor at 0868374827.

Training has commenced and continues on Tuesday and Friday night under the guidance of our new team manager and coach, Ciaran Conlon.  There has been an excellent turn out to training to date and with games due to commence before the end of the month for the reserves, quickly followed by the intermediate league in March, it is important that all members of the panel make a huge effort to attend.
