Fixtures – Senior league football begins on Sunday 6th of March with Junior C football also scheduled for the same weekend. The Bs will have the honour of being the first team into action on Sunday 27th of February. Opposition for these fixtures will be confirmed shortly.

County Team – Well done to Cormac Brady, Ciaran Hughes and Dermot Malone and the rest of the Monaghan team on their victory over Galway last Sunday in the first round of Allianz National League games.

Membership – Membership is now due and will be collected by committee members over the coming weeks; costs for the year are €20 for an adult, €30 for a family membership and €10 for a juvenile. It is particularly important for all players to register early as they will not be covered for insurance unless they are registered members.

U14/U16 Coaching – Coaching sessions for this age group continues on Saturday nights (7-8PM) in the secondary school gym. The coaching is being given by the clubs county players and is designed to strengthen the boys and keep them active over the winter period.

U12 training – U12 training continues on Wednesday nights at Rath na nOg (7.00-8.00PM).

Winter Training Programme – The juvenile training programme continues tonight (Thursday) at the usual times and venues. New kids are always welcome; more details can be obtained from Brian Sherry 086-2334287, Keith Hanratty 086-8225982 and Ray McArdle 087-1383603
Presentation Night: The 2009 Junior B championship medals, 2010 junior double medals and other outstanding medals will be presented in The Spinning Wheel on 18th February.

Circuit Training – Faughs man Marc Loughman is taking circuit training classes in the Scout Hall on Tuesday and now due to demand Thursday nights. The classes start at 8.30PM on both nights and are open to men and women; cost is €5 per night. Marc can be contacted at 0879489207.

Lotto – Lotto numbers for the week ending 03rd February 2011 were 14, 20, 23 and 26. There was no Jackpot winner; one person matched 3 numbers to win €150; Martin Brady Annadrummond. Next week’s jackpot is €11,000.
