Adult Fixtures – Details have been released of the first number of league matches for all teams. The seniors have two fixtures in March a trip to Truagh on Sunday 6th (2.30PM) and a home game against Monaghan Harps on Sunday 27th (2.30PM). The Junior Bs open with two away fixtures, Magheracloone on Sunday 13th (11.30AM) and Monaghan Harps on Sunday 20th (2.30PM). The Junior Cs open their campaign with an away game against Emyvale on St Patricks Day (4.15PM) and on Saturday 26th Monaghan Harps are the visitors to St Marys Park (4.00PM).

Membership – Membership is now due and will be collected by committee members over the coming weeks; costs for the year are €20 for an adult, €30 for a family membership and €10 for a juvenile. Players are reminded that they are not covered for insurance unless they are registered members and are therefore not eligible to play league football.

Presentation Night: The presentation night last Friday night was a huge success with a great crowd turning up. The night was MC’d in his own unique style by club treasurer (and comedian) Stephen Dignam. Thanks to Damian and the staff of Spinning Wheel for hosting such a great night and for the food they kindly put on. When the presentations were concluded Dermot Morgan entertained the crowd into the wee small hours.

Seniors – The seniors had another competitive workout last Saturday evening when they travelled to Kingscourt.

Minors – Minor training has commenced under watchful eye of new manager Pete McMahon and his panel of selectors, Philip Brady, Fr Pat McHugh, Patsy McHugh and Stephen Hanratty.

U14/U16 Coaching – Coaching sessions for this age group continues on Saturday nights (7-8PM) in the secondary school gym. The coaching is being given by the clubs county players and is designed to strengthen the boys and keep them active over the winter period.

U12 training – U12 training continues on Wednesday nights at Rath na nOg (7.00-8.00PM).

Winter Training Programme – The juvenile training programme continues tonight (Thursday) at the usual times and venues. New kids are always welcome; more details can be obtained from Brian Sherry 086-2334287, Keith Hanratty 086-8225982 and Ray McArdle 087-1383603.
Fight Night – Don’t forget to go along and support Paddy Conlon when he represents the Faughs in Orams Fight Forum on 12th March.

Circuit Training – Faughs man Marc Loughman is taking circuit training classes in the Scout Hall on Tuesday and now due to demand Thursday nights. The classes start at 8.30PM on both nights and are open to men and women; cost is €5 per night. Marc can be contacted at 0879489207.

Lotto – Lotto numbers for the week ending 14th February 2011 were 04, 16, 17 and 23. There was no Jackpot winner; one person matched 3 numbers to win €150; Vincie McDonald New York. Next week’s jackpot is €11,000.
