Senior Training – Senior training is now in full swing in anticipation of the return of competitive football with reserve leagues due to commence in late February and senior league in early March.

Membership – Membership is now due and will be collected by committee members over the coming weeks; costs for the year are €20 for an adult, €30 for a family membership and €10 for a juvenile. It is particularly important for all players to register early as they will not be covered for insurance unless they are registered members.

U14/U16 Coaching – Coaching sessions for this age group continues on Saturday nights (7-8PM) in the secondary school gym. The coaching is being given by the clubs county players and is designed to strengthen the boys and keep them active over the winter period.

U12 training – U12 training continues on Wednesday nights at Rath na nOg (7.00-8.00PM).

Winter Training Programme – The juvenile training programme continues tonight (Thursday) at the usual times and venues. New kids are always welcome; more details can be obtained from Brian Sherry 086-2334287, Keith Hanratty 086-8225982 and Ray McArdle 087-1383603
Presentation Night: The 2009 Junior B championship medals, 2010 junior double medals and other outstanding medals with be presented in The Spinning Wheel on 18th February, more details closer to the time.

Circuit Training – Faughs man Marc Loughman is taking a circuit training class in the Scout Hall on Tuesday nights (8.45PM). The class is open to men and women and costs €5 per night. Marc can be contacted at 0879489207.

VEC team – Best of luck to Fergal Malone and the rest of the Monaghan team as they face Donegal this week in their quest for a 4th successive Ulster title.

Lotto – Lotto numbers for the week ending 24th January 2011 were 02, 11, 24 and 28. There was no Jackpot winner; three people matched 3 numbers to win €50 each; Josie Marron c/o Centra, Andrew Duffy Shercock Road and Melissa McManus c/o Seans. Next week’s jackpot is €11,000.
