AGM 2010: The football club AGM for 2010 took place on Monday evening last. The meeting opened with a word of thought from our acting Chairperson for Cathal McCoy and Family. It continued with reports from our Club Secretary, Treasurer and Juvenile Secretary both boys and girls. The appointment of club officers for 2011 are as follows – Honouree Club President : Frank McKenna and Frank Lennon, Vice President: Sean Creighan and Brendan Hughes, Chairman : Paddy McGlynn, Vice-Chairman : JP Mone, Secretary : Alan Farrelly, Treasurer : Gabriel Mullen, Assistant Treasurer : Sean Creighan, PRO : Grainne Treanor, Coaching Officer : Kevin Kavanagh, Juvenile Secretary : Darren Smith, Development Officer : Jimmy Askin, Culture Officer : Geraldaine Evans, Registrar : Undecided.

Good Luck was expressed to our Senior team, Minor, Juvenile and Ladies team, Management and the incoming committee for 2011.

Slotto: The weekends numbers are 1,4,7,17. Lucky dip winners are Monica Treanor, Paudge Connolly, Gary McQuaid and Tom Elliot. Well done to you all. This weekends jackpot is a massive €10,000.

Benefit Night: Our Community has come together to organise a fund raiser night to assist Cathal McCoy and family through his recovery following his recent accident in Brazil. A dance will take place on Saturday 5^th February in the community centre, tickets are on sale now. With great music by Rico’s Groove it is guaranteed to be a very successful night!

Social Dancing: Social dancing has now resumed for 2011 on Monday night at 9pm. Everyone welcome.

Bowls: Bowls continue every Tuesday night in at 9pm. New comers welcome.

Irish Dancing: Classes continue every Wednesday from 6pm-7.30pm. Beginners of any age are welcome.

Ceili Dancing: Classes every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm – 9pm. Beginners welcome.
