FARNEY FUN RUN

A 5km non competitive fun run will take place on Sunday 13th March at 12.00. Ideal for walkers and joggers.  Starting and finishing at the  Emmet centre. Entry fee 10euro.  Its a great chance to get fit for the new year with your family.  8 week training plan available for all participants. CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Terry Kiernan who has been awarded the Handballer of the Year title in the Northern Standard/Monaghan GAA awards 2010.  The awards ceremony will take place in the Hillgrove Hotel Monaghan on 22nd January.  Well done Ta!

The Lotto will recommence on Monday 17th January at 8.30pm in Emmet Centre.  Jackpot 1,000euro. 

LADIES

Carrickmacross Emmets are organising a Farney 5km Fun Run on Sunday the 13^th March 2011. This is a fun run for all the family and there is an eight week programme to get you ready. Now is the time to get fit for 2011 and banish those winter blues. You can walk, run, or jog it’s up to you. Registration will take place at various locations or on the day at Emmet Park. The fee is ten euro and proceeds will go to Carrick Emmet’s development. Contact any committee member for more details.

Winter training will commence shortly and all girls and schools will be notified.

Any girls interested in playing county minor or under sixteen there are trials on in Cloghan every Sunday at 11am.
