Lotto Results.  The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending November 29th were as follows…..1, 4, 18 and 20. The Jackpot was not won and the following players won 50 euro in the Lucky Dip draw…..Colm Duffy, Leonsgarve, Rose McCaul, Clontrain, Peter McEntegart, Halftate and Mary O Callaghan, Mucker, Inniskeen.

The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 6^th December were ….6, 13, 20 and 23. Again the jackpot was not won but the following won fifty euro in the Lucky Dip….Gerry Malone, Arthur McDonald, Carrickleck, Barry O Reilly, c/o Malones and Brian Martin, Drumgossatt.

On the 13^th December the numbers drawn were 5, 10, 23 and 28. The Lucky Dip winners were Michael Hughes, Stranatona, Margaret Lambe, Lisnaclea, Paula Roe, 3, Shamrock Drive and John Browne, c/o Jimmy Martin. A further four names were drawn for the Christmas Lucky Dip and the four winners were Cathy McDaniel, Drummerlough, Ruth Babbington, Moylough, Seamus Mullen , Shercock and Nicola Kieran, c/o Murtagh’s.

The next draw will be on Monday December 20^th and the Jackpot will be 4,700 euro.

A.G.M.  At a well attended AGM on Friday evening last the members present reviewed the year just finished and discussed the year to come. The reports of the various officers were presented and examined. Some discussion took place on the Treasurer’s report and the members expressed satisfaction with the accounts presented.

The election of officers for 2011 then took place and it is very much a case of as you were with the main holders returning unopposed for another year.

 In concluding the meeting, the Chairman, Bernard Freeman, reminded the members that 2011 would probably another difficult year financially and he appealed to members to support the club in every way possible.

Mass for Deceased Members. The annual Mass for deceased members will be celebrated on New Year’s Day, January 1^st, 2011.

Christmas and New Year Wishes.  On behalf of the chairman and executive, I would like to wish all our members and supporters a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Particular good wishes go at this time to our many exiles across the world. You are in our thoughts at this time. Many have had to leave because of the current economic circumstances and it is hoped that you will be soon able to return to your native land.
