LOTTO

Christmas came early for a very lucky lady at last Monday nights lotto draw.  Congratulations to Una McGinn who scooped the jackpot of 3,600 euro with her lucky numbers which were 2, 11, 13, and 16.   

CHRISTMAS DAY SWIM

All swimmers needed for the 30th Carrick Emmets Christmas Day Swim at Creevy Lake at 12.30pm sharp.  Multiple Sclerosis and St. Vincent De Paul in additon to other local charities willl benefit from the swim this year.  Sponsor cards available from committee and club members.  There will be a one way traffic system in operation on the day of swim to ease congestion,  all traffic please approach from old Blayney Road and exit via Ballybay road. 

CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Annual club membership is now due. Membership fee remains at 20 euro for 2011 and forms are available from any committee member. Please return to Club Registrar James Capaldi, Shanmullagh, Carrickmacross.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS
Happy Christmas to all club members and their families and especially to all who will be spending Christmas away from home this year.  

LADIES
Carrickmacross Ladies club would ask you to support the Annual Emmets Christmas day swim. This is the 30th consecutive Christmas day swim by the club and we urge as many as possible to take part. The event will take place at Creevy lake at 12-30pm. Sponsorship cards are available from any committee member. Please obey traffic management and make it easy for everyone to get there and home quickly and safely. All proceeds will go to local charities.

Monaghan minor ladies trials will continue on Sunday in Cloghan at 11am. We ask all girls to attend the last training session for the year. If there is a change of time girls will be notified.

We hope to start winter training for the younger girls early in the New Year. When we have it arranged we will get word into schools to let you know.
