U8’s and u10’s news– We had our last coaching session on Monday night last. Thanks to all parents for dropping and collecting players from training and the many blitz’s during the year.
U10`s Tournament – On Saturday last our u10 team won an exciting division two final of the Aughnamullen tournament. Having won two out of three of their league games they then took on Cremartin in the final, where they prevailed by 3 points. Congratulations to Aughnamullen on hosting the well organised tournament. The Ballybay team on the day – M.Murphy, L. Gibson, C. Counihan (captain), S Forde, T Mc Skean, C Monaghan, E Dixon, C Mc Kearney, S Caraher, C Byrne, A Smyth U8,s will be competing in the Aughnamullen tournament this Saturday.
The Big Match- On Sunday the 24th of October the 1987 championship winning panel we play the St. Brigids ladies team in a fundraising game for the St Brigids club. All the 1987 winning panel please be in the dressing room at 4.15 for fitness test and medical check up by PJ Finlay. The team will be guided by Gerry Connolly, Damien McBride and Gerry West. Throw in for the big match is at 5pm in Pearse Park.
Senior League- The Senior team play Clontibret in the senior league on Saturday the 23rd of October in O` Neill Park Clontibret Throw in is at 4pm.
Friday Night Lights- On Friday night last it was the turn of our under 15`s to take part in the Friday Night 7 a side blitz`s held in Cloghan. The team played three matches beating Clones and Truagh but narrowly lost out to Blackhill in the final game. Our under 13`s are out this Friday night at 7.30pm in Cloghan.
Junior Final- Stewarts needed to help out on Sunday the 24th October for the Junior League Final between Cremartin and Sean Mc Dermotts. Anybody able to help out is asked to be in Pearse Park at 1.45pm.
