Greenfield Foods Senior Football Championship Round 2A

Magheracloone 0-15 Ballybay 0-14                                     2/9/17

Magheracloone booked their place in the SFC semi-finals when they put a slow start behind them to pip Ballybay in Clontibret last Saturday. Ballybay raced into a four-point lead, with Paul Finlay leading the scoring, but a string of scores from Tommy Freeman either side of half-time turned it in favour of Magheracloone. Ballybay rallied to draw level via a Christopher McGuinness brace late on, but a tenth point of the game from Freeman earned Magheracloone their third win of the championship.
