youthtoworkPlease read details below of the Youth to Work Scheme in conjunction with Monaghan GAA, Microsoft and FIT with the support of CMETB. A Career Expo will take place this Monday May 9th in the Nuremore Hotel. It will commence at 7pm.  Please promote as widely as possible. Youth2Work is a highly innovative and dynamic initiative through which the GAA, in partnership with Microsoft and Fit and with the support of CMETB, want to help drive local awareness of the emerging job opportunities in tech and related sectors in the greater Monaghan region. Youth2Work seeks to ensure that new job opportunities are accessible to young people locally through appropriate training opportunities, career advice and placement supports. The ultimate goal of Youth2Work is to enable young people get a quality job-ideally within their locality. With an investment of €3m, Microsoft, in collaboration with the GAA and fit, wish to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to youth employment thereby bringing prosperity, optimism and confidence to local communities.
Attached is correspondence with regards to Youth2work programme. This is suitable for all young personnel within the county who are completing their Leaving Certificate Examinations this year  and also to those who have completed their college exams and are looking for work locally. It is also suitable to anyone who is unemployed or those who want to upskill
The Youth2work  programme will also assist those who are interested in apprenticeships. An information evening will take place on Monday 9th May  in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross. It will commence at 7pm
