Inniskeen

Seniors (IFL)

Our IFL campaign continued last week with mixed results.

After the opening round win over neighbours Donaghmoyne, we were brought firmly down to earth with a 2 point defeat at home to Corduff.

The game was played on Wednesday week past, again in very difficult weather conditions.

Corduff took the most of their chances and ended up winning by a score line of 1-09 to 2-08.

However the lads bounced back in emphatic style with an extremely hard fought win away to Clones last Sunday.

Even going down to 14 Men (within the first 20 minutes) could not stop Inniskeen running out eventual winners by a score of 1-08 to 1-17.

Next on the Calendar is an away trip to Drumhowan on Wednesday 1st May @ 7.30pm.

It is a must win game to ensure we keep in touch with early pace setters Currin and Truagh.

Senior Hurlers

Our lads finally get out to knock off the cobwebs as the first round of the league kicks off this evening (Thurs) away to Carrickmacross @ 7.30pm.

Let’s get out and support Brian and the lads as the go in search of silverware.

Both the league and the championship are most definitely within the capabilities of this young and exciting team.
