Blackhill Emeralds Club Notes: 16.02.23

Special Club Meeting:

The most significant development meeting in well over a decade will take place on Wednesday February 22nd at 7.30pm in the social centre. All club members are encouraged to come and have their voice heard in marking out the future of development in the years ahead. 

Social Centre: 

Music and Dancing this Saturday from 10pm with Big Pat. Cover €5.

Our social centre is open from 8pm nightly.

Monaghan Macra na Feirme:

Monaghan Macra na Feirme is hosting a Social on Friday night from 8pm in our social centre. Themed Personalities, its sure to be a great night. All are welcome.

Club Membership 2023:

Our Luacht Tacaiochta An Mhullach Dubh membership level €100 includes annual club lotto membership, entry into a  draw for All-Ireland Final tickets and an annual clubwear gift. This membership may be renewed using the online option below or by contacting the registrar Aiden Little or Secretary Matthew Callan. Standard club Membership 2023 is €20 for adults either social or full and €10 for juveniles. Both new and existing members need membership for insurance purposes to be in our grounds. There are three renewal options for renewal. Option1: Online GAA Foireann App. Navigate to Monaghan, Blackhill, Memberships. All renewal options are available. Option 2 Online Banking SEPA Payment BIC: AIBKIE2D IBAN: IE26AIBK93242601063288 Include your name and address in the note field. Option 3: Place an envelope with your name, address and €20 fee /adult, €10/ juvenile in the club post box located at the side of the social centre.

Ireland Lights Up John McGough Track:

Our floodlit walking track has been open to 9pm nightly since 2016. 

Ireland lights up walk in association with operation transformation. Blackhill GAA scheduled walks will continue Monday February 6th  at 7pm. 

Irish Life, proud sponsors of the GAA Healthy Club programme, are once again onboard to host another ‘Steps Challenge’ through their MyLife health app. An incredible 28,000 participants tracked their steps through the app in January 2022, with three clubs winning prizes totalling €5,000 in each province.

Sign in sheets will be completed by participants and used to report official participant numbers nationally to capture the success of the event.

Jiving Gym classes:

Classes Tuesday nights 7pm – 8:00 pm then 8:15 pm – 9:15 pm running for 4 weeks. No booking or partner needed, simply turn up.
