U10’s. Training continues as usual on Wednesday nights
U12 & U13’s. Parish league commenced last night and will continue for the next 3 Wednesdays. U12’s in action on Saturday in the first round of the Spring League, see Whatsapp for details.
U14’s. Narrowly beaten by Clones last Saturday in first round of the league. Training continues this week as per texts.
U16’s. Training continues as per usual.
Feile Weekend 23-25th June 2017. Feile is an Annual Festival of Gaelic Football for U-14 Boys and Girls. This event is being hosted across Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh. This is an opportunity to showcase our club in the best possible light and create lasting links with visiting clubs.

St. Patrick’s Night: Cultural Committee have organised a Traditional Music Session on St. Patrick’s Night 7pm – 10pm, followed by music from Heels ‘n’ Reels. Everyone welcome.
Scor Sinsir: Hard luck to our Ballad Group who were representing Monaghan in the Ulster Scor Sinsir Semi-Final last weekend. They put in a great performance on the the night and were unlucky not to progress to the Ulster Final. Thanks to Emily McMeel, Dervla McGinn, Meghan McKenna and Clodagh McMeel for their great effort all year.
Liathroid Laimhe: All Ireland Adult Championships. Good luck to Michael Mc Carron as he plays his “Ruby Masters” All Ireland final tonight (Thursday 16th) in Kingscourt where he takes on Eugene Kennedy from Dublin, good luck Mickey.
County Adult Championships. The Nov2 final between Fergal O Neill and Gary Mc Elroy from Bawn was played last Friday evening in Tydavnet, it wasn’t Fergal’s night as he lost both games 21-15, 21-14, Fergal played well through out the whole game but Gary just served better on the night and caused Fergal those few more problems, hard luck Fergal.
Table Quiz. We would like to thank all that came down to support our table quiz, it was a very enjoyable night for all that took part, a big thanks to all that helped out in anyway to make the whole night run off smoothly, thanks to AnnaRose who helped prepare and serve the refreshments and to all those who donated spot prizes for our raffle, a lot of people could not make it due to other commitments on the night and have forward donations to committee members so thank you all very much.
