LOTTO RESULTS: Lotto Results for Sunday last. Numbers drawn were 02,11, 17 & 26. There was No winner. Next weeks Jackpot now stands at €3,900. MONTHLY COMMITTEE MEETING: Our monthly committee meeting will be held on Monday night next the 11th of April at 9pm. Everyone are requested to attend.
SENIORS: Next game is AWAY to Inniskeen tomorrow evening Friday the 8th of April at 8pm in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate football League. All support welcome. Training continues as usual on Wednesday & Friday nights. Everyone are requested to attend.
JUNIOR B’S: Our boys played away to Ballybay on Saturday evening last in the Platinum Tanks Reserve League Div.1.B. Round 3. Our Boys got off to a slow start with Ballybay getting the 1st score on the board followed by a goal, but a point from Aughnamullen put us on the score board followed by 2 more points and a great goal from Brendan Finnegan. Aughnamullen continued to keep up the scores to keep them in the lead with a 3 point lead at half time. Aughnamullen displayed a strong performance ending the game with a great win on a score line of Aughnamullen (3-11) To Ballybay (2-4). Our next game is not until Wednesday the 4th of May at home against Donnaghmoyne at 7:30pm. Training continues as usual on Friday nights. Everyone are requested to attend.
MINORS: First game was home against St. Pats in Division 1, Round 1 on Tuesday evening last. What a 1st game of the season win. Our boys showed strength & determination even though St Pat’s opened the score with a point, Aughnamullen quickly showed their true colour’s. with a follow up point quickly followed by a goal from Kieran Marron. Two points from Michéal Bannigan kept us ahead on the score board and another goal from Stephen Geoghegan in the 1st half give us a 5 point lead. A great goal from Michéal Bannigan on the 1st min in the second half, and 2 great saves from Thomas Marron in goals kept out the Ballybay side in their effort to get ahead, but our boys kept up a great defence and followed by 8 more points in the second half kept Aughnamullen well ahead finishing on a score line of Aughnamullen (3-14) To Ballybay (1-13). Their next game is on Tuesday next another home game against Corduff on the 12th of April at 6:30pm. Support our boys.
JUVENILES:
U16’s: Our U16’s played thier 1st game of the season on Thursday evening last away to Inniskeen. Inniskeen opened the game with the 1st score, but Aughnamullen received 4 points from frees followed by a goal. They kept up the lead at half time with a 1-9 to 1-3 score. With great team work Aughnamullen got themselves another 3 goals and another 4 points to give them a great 1st game of the season win on a score line of Aughnamullen (4-13) To Inniskeen (1-9). Their next game is on Thursday next the 7th of April at 6:30pm at home against Gaeil Triucha in Division 1 R.2. Come out and support our young team.
U14’s: Our Next game is home against Clones on Saturday next the 9th of April at 2pm. All support welcome.
U12’s:
SPRING LEAGUE: Our Boys played away to Clones on Saturday last but they where unfortunately it just wasn’t for them on the day with a score line of Aughnamullen (0-11) To Clones (0-17). Next game is home against Cremartin on Saturday the 16th of April at 2pm.
U10’s
Our U10’s have their 1st blitz of the year away in killanny kick of 10am
U8’s
Training continues as usual this Saturday at 9:30am.
U6’s Training starts this Saturday the 9th of April at 9:30pm. All school going children Please. .. Also calling anybody who would like to help out with juveniles please please come along only once a week for hour & half.
