Scor: Congratulations to Emyvale Set Dancing Team on winning the Scór Sinsir Ulster Final on Saturday evening last. They were up against stiff opposition but danced their way to the All Ireland Final which will be held in Killarney on Saturday 2nd April. Well done also to the Ceili Dancing Team & Solo Singer Amelia Murphy who put on great performances also.

CPR/AED: Training Course coming up in The Oakland Centre, Glaslough on Friday 4th March from 6-30pm to 9-30pm. Course Fee €25 which goes towards the upkeep of Defibrillator Pads and Batteries. Juveniles: Registration night for Juveniles was held last Wednesday 17th February. Thanks to everyone who came along and registered on the night and everyone who helped out with registration. Anyone who did not register can still do so by contacting Aine Sheehan 0851400186 or Killian Cawley 0868294730. Registration is €20 per child (€10 for registration and €10 for a training top) and €25 per adult. Family membership is available at €60. Also, please bring child\children’s birth cert for proof of date of birth.

Nursery Programme: Emyvale GAA Juvenile Club Nursery Programme continues to run every Saturday morning until Saturday 26th March from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Emyvale Leisure Centre for children attending Junior Infants to 1st class and parents will be encouraged to take part. All children taking part in the Nursery Club are required to register with the club for insurance purposes.

U8 & U10’s: U-10 & U-8 indoor football leagues will be held every Saturday in the Emyvale Leisure Centre starting this Saturday 27th February between 11- 12pm. Please note all players must wear a mouth guard. Contact Martin O’Brien on 0876721981for further information.

U12’s: We have entered two U-12 team for the 2016 season. The first competition of the year will be the Spring League with one team playing in Zone C (11-a-side) against Clontibret, Killanny & Scotstown and the second team playing in Zone D (11/9-a-side) against Clontibret B, Killanny B, Scotstown B & Carrickmacross B2. The Spring League starts on Saturday 19th March for all zones, with a throw in time of 2pm and the Spring League Finals are scheduled for Monday May 2nd. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evening between 7-8pm in Tully.

U14’s: We have entered two U-14 teams for the 2016 season. One team will play in Division 1 against Donaghmoyne, Inniskeen, Monaghan Harps & Latton. Under 14 Div 1 Football starts on Saturday 12th March for Divisions 1, with a throw in time of 2pm, this is a 13-a-side competition for the league and 15-a-side for the Championship. Div 1 will be played as a triple league with 12 matches and the top three will play for the cup final and the bottom two teams will play for the shield final. We play Donaghmoyne in the Under 14 Div 1 Football Championship (Feile) at a date and time to be confirmed. Our second team will play in Under 14 Divisions 5 against Carrickmacross B, Castleblayney B, Donaghmoyne B, Monaghan Harps B, Latton B & Scotstown B. Under 14 Div 5 football competitions starts on Saturday 26th March, with a throw in time of 2pm, this is a 11/9-a-side competition. Div 5 with start as a single league with 6 matches and then split into a cup and shield competitions. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evening between 7-8pm in Tully.

U16’s: U-16’s play in Division 2 against Clontibret, Cremartin, Donaghmoyne, Killanny, Latton & Sean McDermotts, this is a 13-a-side competition and will be played as a double league with 12 matches with the top four teams playing for the cup final and the bottom three teams will play for the shield final. We play Clontibret in the Championship quarter final at a date and time to be confirmed. The Under 16 Football starts on Thursday 31st March for all division 2. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evening between 8-9pm in Tully.

The Mc Elroy/Connolly Memorial Tournament will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 28th March 2016. This will be a U-16 tournament run on a Blitz basis. Keep the date free as help will be required on the day.
