Sigerson Cup: Good luck to Ryan Mc Anespie who plays for University of Ulster, Jordanstown against DCU in the semi-final of the Sigerson Cup on Friday & if they win, will contest the final on Saturday against the winners of UCD v University of Limerick.

Health & Wellbeing: A new role in the club this year is that of Club Health & Wellbeing Officer & this role has been filled by Carmel Mc Nally, Mullinary, Glaslough. Part of her role is to ensure that appropriate GAA policies are implemented and monitored, and that the club fosters a culture that promotes health and wellbeing amongst all club members and, where possible, the local community; using the resources available ensure that policies such as the Club Drug & Alcohol policy template and the Club Mental Health Charter, are implemented; promote health activities and partnerships developed at national, provincial, and county level that may benefit club members; where appropriate or necessary, work with local service providers/agencies/charities who are seeking to make their services available to club members; work with the club Executive to promote health messages at club games and events; encourage the club to include the wider community (parents, past players, older men etc) in any health promoting plans or activities.

CPR/AED: Training Course coming up in The Oakland Centre, Glaslough on Friday 4th March from 6-30pm to 9-30pm. Course Fee €25 which goes towards the upkeep of Defibrillator Pads and Batteries. Juveniles: Nursery Programme: Emyvale GAA Juvenile Club will be holding their Nursery Programme again in 2016. The programme will run every Saturday morning until Saturday 26th March from 10:00am to 11:00am in Emyvale Leisure Centre for children attending Junior Infants to 1st class and parents will be encouraged to take part. All children taking part in the Nursery Club are required to register with the club for insurance purposes. Registration is €20, (€10 for registration and €10 for a training top).
