Last Saturday morning Monaghan Coaching & Games launched this summers Cul Camps in Cloghan. This year there will be 18 camps in total, which will be run over 5 weeks during the summer.  Our full time staff have been busy over the past couple of weeks promoting the camps in our primary schools, handing out application forms and flyers for the camps, along with showing the children the brand new jersey everyone who attends the camps will receive. This year each child will also receive a half zip top which seems to be going down really well.

At the launch of the camp, our county coordinators were joined by members of the Monaghan senior football, hurling, ladies football and camogie teams. Just like every year at the camps, county players take an active role in the camps either coaching at the camps or visiting the camps to present the prizes at the end of the week. It is always a great opportunity for the children to meet the stars and get their autographs and photos with their hero’s.

The first week of the camps start of Monday the 29th of June with four camps taking place in Clontibret, Clones, Carrickmacross and Toome. Further details of the camps can be found on our Cul Camps page (click here).

You can register for the camp by either sending the application form into the Monaghan GAA Offices in Cloghan (address below) or filling the application form out online (click here). Just like last year only children who are pre-registered can be guaranteed to receive their kits the week of the camps, so it is vitally important if you wish to send your child(ren) to the camp, that you register them before they go.
