Well done to Eddie Markey on winning an All Ireland medal with Ballyhaise Agricultural college last week by defeating Pallaskenny Limerick. Eddie contributed a point from play from his midfield position in this final.

Comhghairdeas

A great win by Inver College in the colleges football last week and star performances by our four representatives Caolan Brady, Peter McMahon and Jack Kierans who kicked 2 points and Tommy Byrnes who scored 2 points from right half forward resulting in a 2 point win over hotly fancied Largey College. They now face the Cavan Champions Baileborough. We wish the boys and their mentors them well.

Lotto

We have concluded another year of our lotto. Sincere thanks to our members(direct debit, annual payment, weekly contributors) to the promoters and the members that conduct our weekly returns and draws. We greatly appreciate the efforts of our weekly sellers. Our Lotto is now 20 years in existence and has proved a great source of income for our club. In recent years we share the lotto funds with our Community Association, this goes towards the upkeep and maintaining of the new centre. For the coming year we appeal for a greater effort to support the scheme that has serves us well down through the years. The centre is a excellent facility with up to date dressing rooms, toilets, catering area and main hall.. Pairc Eanna has been drained and updated to a high standard over the past season at quite a substantial cost. The park and centre are available to all players both men and women including juveniles of all age groups(girls and boys). In order to maintain a high standard of the playing area and all amenities we would ask all players and committee members to sell a few weekly envelopes at just 2Euro each. Our club committee members will arrange to have your returns in for the weekly draw which takes place in the community centre on Monday evenings at 8pm.. you are very welcome along and take part if you so desire. We would kindly ask all parents to support their children in playing their part to maintain the present standards at the centre and park. Resent results.9000 jackpot not won.
