Dr Ward semi final
Killanny 1g 8p
Oram 1g 10p
We can only empathise with Andrew, Paul, Liam and this bunch of players who did themselves, family and their club proud on Saturday evening last in Pairc Eanna in the semi final of the Dr Ward cup. Topping the league table was an achievement on its own considering that we have been propping up the league table for years now and a little bit more experience may have made the difference but that only comes with time. Well done to all the team but a special mention goes to Conor Vernon who at the tender age of 17 played his heart out on Saturday. Well done Conor.  We are on a long journey that started with most of these players 10 years ago winning  division 4 under 14 competition under Lornie and John to competing in division 1 in almost all our competitions and most of them donning the Killanny shirt on Saturday and  backboned by Peter Dooley and Locky Burns. We have a lot of work done boys and a lot more to do. We thank Andrew, Paul and Liam for all their hard work with the players during the year and we are hoping that the management team will stay in place to push these players over the line next year. Report elsewhere.
Minors
Our minors are playing in the final of the minor league next Saturday against Donaghmoyne. As this is the final game of the year we are asking you once more time to come out and support this young team.
Cumann na mBunscoil
The boys school team are through to the semi finals of the Cumann na mBunscoil competition. They will meet the winners of the north section.
