Eurotech

Emyvale continue to lead the way in the Eurotech Junior Football League, but only after they survived a scare from Scotstown on Sunday. Blackhill stayed in touch with a straightforward win over neighbours Oram, while Killanny maintained third place with a similarly comfortable defeat of Toome. Killeevan returned to winning ways at the expense of local rivals Aghabog.

Clontibret proved too strong for Truagh in the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Championship O’Duffy Cup Final on Saturday, while Aughnamullen edged out Donaghmoyne in the Crawley Cup Final.

 

Scotstown beat Castleblayney to go top of the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 1A on Wednesday, while Blayney also lost to Latton on Saturday and Monaghan Harps got the better of Magheracloone on Monday.

Drumhowan proved too strong for Doohamlet in Division 1B, while there were comfortable wins for Donaghmoyne and Carrickmacross in Division 2A at the expense of Killeevan and Inniskeen. In Division 2B, Oram saw off Truagh and Rockcorry conceded to Aughnamullen, while the Division Three games saw Clontibret battle past Aghabog to go top and Clones stay in touch by beating Blackhill.

Silver Hill Foods

Castleblayney continue to set the pace in the Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling Championship after they had comfortable victories over Truagh on Thursday and Monaghan Harps on Sunday. Thursday’s other games saw Inniskeen ease past Carrickmacross and Monaghan Harps take a draw from Clontibret.

There was one game in the McElvaney Recycling Under-21 Football League Division One on Friday, when Scotstown defeated Latton.

The GRM Minor Football Leagues resumed last Tuesday. Carrickmacross maintained their place at the top of Division One with a convincing win over Monaghan Harps, while Magheracloone beat Scotstown to continue their surge in form and there was a draw between local rivals Truagh and Emyvale.

Division Two leaders Cúchulains Sarsfields defeated St. Patrick’s, while Clontibret beat Latton and Donaghmoyne got a walkover from Seán McDermotts.

Doohamlet and Corduff were high-scoring winners against Killeevan and Emerald Sarsfields respectively in Division Three, while Inniskeen conceded to Castleblayney.
