Adult Team news. Last Friday night in Drumhowan in the preliminary round of the 2013Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship our boys powered their way pass Toome on a scoreline of Seans 3 – 14 Toome 0 -13. A very good first half display laid the foundation for this victory, goals from Derek Mc Mahon, Damien Larkin, and man of the match Patrick Kieran made sure our lads were always in the driving seat (See match report).We now go forward to meet round one opponents Killanny, that game is also scheduled for Drumhowan on Friday 7th June at 7.30pm. Our reserve squad get back in action on Friday night when they travel to Rockcorry for their Crawley Cup quarter final clash with the home side throw in 7.30pm.
Under 8/10 Coaching for everyone in this age category continues on Wednesday evenings from 6.45 to 7.30pm and on Saturday mornings from 10.00 -11.00am. Well done to all who participated in the opening blitz of the season last week hosted by Monaghan Harps, and to the many parents who turned out in force to support their children, that encouragement is very much appreciated.
Ceili Dancing. Ceili dancing classes continue in the complex this Sunday at the usual time of 6.30pm -7.30pm. Paula, Edel & Michelle look forward to seeing all their regulars there.
Cultural Night: Our next Traditional Irish Music session which takes place on Friday 14th June, the 2nd Friday of the month. Everyone is welcome to this terrific night’s entertainment! Refreshments served. We look forward to seeing you all there.
