Seniors: The Seniors were away at Magheracloone on Wednesday evening. The next game is away to Rockcorry on Wednesday, May 8th at 7:45pm.

Juniors: The Juniors were away to Killeevan on Wednesday evening. Next up is a home fixture versus Toome on Wednesday, May 8th at 7:45pm.

Reserves: The B team defeated Magheracloone at home last Wednesday evening by 1-13 to 0-6 and are currently second in RFL Division 1A.  They will be in Championship/O’Duffy Cup action away to Cremartin this Friday, May 3rd at 7:15pm.

Under 21: The St. Patrick’s combination conceded the points of Sundays game, as they were unable to field a team. The next fixture is scheduled for Friday, May 17th away to Clontibret.

Minors: The Minor team suffered another narrow defeat last Tuesday night, losing out by a single point to Carrickmacross by 1-10 to 0-12. They had a home fixture against Emyvale on Tuesday evening, and will have another home game next Tuesday, May 7th against Truagh at 7:30pm.

Under 16: The next game is a home fixture versus Monaghan Harps at 7pm on Thursday, May 2nd.

Under 14: The Division Five team are in action this Saturday, May 4th with a home game against a Clones/Currin combination at 12 noon. The Division One team take on Clones/Currin at home on Saturday, May 18th.

Under 12: Emyvale were the opposition last Saturday, with the Zone A team getting a victory, and the Zone B team narrowly defeated after two entertaining matches.

Under 10/Under 8: The Under 8’s & Under 10’s continue training in Kilmore on Saturday mornings at 11am, while on Sunday, May 5th they will play at the charity event in Smithborough at 2pm.

Under 6 Nursery: Help is needed with the forthcoming Under 6 nursery which is due to begin shortly, running on Saturday mornings. Anyone interested should contact David McCague on 087-6202242.

Recreational: Recreational football training continues every Thursday evening at 7:15pm in Kilmore. New players welcome. There is a charity game on Sunday, May 5th at 4pm against Éire Óg in Smithborough.

Ciste: The April draw took place on Sunday night and the winners were: €700 Brian Morgan, Knockatallon; €300 Colin Morgan, Virginia, Co. Cavan; €100 Susan O’Lamhna, Telayden; €100 Noel McKenna, Carrachor; €100 Theresa Hanawin, Rockcorry; €100 Noel McGinnity, Canada; €100 Bernie Sherry, Agheracalkill; €100 Michael Boylan, Scotstown. Sellers prizes: €30 Michael McMahon & Brendan Mohan. The next draw takes place on Saturday, May 25th.

County success: Congratulations to the Scotstown representatives on the Monaghan Senior & Minor panels on their League victories at the weekend.

Bank Holiday Music: Craobh Eamonn Ó’Muirí, Scotstown has organised a traditional music seisún in Scotstown Complex on Sunday, May 5th (Bank holiday weekend) starting at 9pm. Junior and senior musicians, and singers from all branches are very welcome to attend. Non Comhaltas members are also invited. We look forward to a great night’s entertainment.

Charity Event: Éire Óg and Scotstown Fighting Cancer are running a charity event this Sunday, May 5th. A motorbike run leaves Smithborough at 11am, returning at 5pm. There will be U8, U10 and recreational football matches a 2pm, 3pm and 4pm between the hosts and Scotstown. This will be followed by a BBQ and music with all proceeds going to Monaghan Cancer Treatment Support.

Get Well Soon: Best wishes to Daniel McNally after his recent operation.

Scór: Commiserations to our quiz team of Seamus Mullen, Ian McQuaid and Martin Mullen who competed in the Scór Sinsear All-Ireland Final in Derry last Saturday, but lost out in a very competitive competition which was won by Clann na Gael of Roscommon.

Condolences: Sympathy is extended to the friends and family of the recently deceased who include Mary Anne Mulligan, Knockatallon.
