Uachtarán Chomhairle Uladh. Ballybay Pearse Brothers wish to congratulate Martin Mc Aviney on becoming President of Ulster Council. It is a great achievement for Martin and we wish him well and offer him our support in his new role

Championship Awards night. Our awards night is just days away and all ticket holders are requested to come early so proceedings can get  underway as promptly as possible, Meal to be served at 8pm sharp.
Medals will be presented to our County senior champions for winning the Mick Duffy cup and to the U21 winning team. Senior player of the year and junior player of the year will be announced on the night. Special guest on the night will be Pauric Joyce. Pauric is a 2 time All  Ireland and All Star County GAA player from Galway. Auction on the night by TV personality Adrian Logan.                                                                          
Senior Teams, Training has now commenced for Senior, Junior and U21 players each week. Games commence in March.
St.Pats U-16’s: Challenge game vs Laytown this Sat at 3pm in Ballybay. Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday for U-16’s and Minors in Ballybay.

Ballybay Pearse Bros.have decided to run a similar session for 10-13year old boys.Training will begin in the Recreation Centre on Friday 22nd February from 6-7pm,€2 per child per night.Contact Enda 085 1509241.

Sigerson Cup, Well done to Colin Walsh, Doohamlet O’Neills who was captain of DIT college team who won the Sigerson Cup for the first time last week-end in Athlone
DCU, Well done also to our own club player Shane Mc Guinness who won DCU Freshers Final against UCC Cork, A great week for college football for our players in the the county.
Shamrock cup. The U21 Shamrock Cup Final is on Wed 6th March in Emyvale at 7-45pm. Good luck to to the team against Tyrone                                                           Mouthguards – It becomes mandatory to use a mouth guard in all football matches and training sessions for all age grades up to and including minors from January 1st 2013, and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. All parents ensure that each player has suitable mouth guard for their own safety.

Ballybay Bulgebusters 5k Fun Run  The 5k fun run is being held on Sunday 10th March, Registrations at Ballybay Pearse Bros centre at 3pmRun starts at 4-15 pm. This run is open to all who wish to take part. Entry fee 10€.

Club Membership Membership is now due and closing date is drawing near . Membership can be paid to Paddy Kerr and John Keenan. 50€ per per person which includes entrance into all Pearse Brothers home league games or 20€ per person. Membership must be paid before 31st March and all players must have membership for players insurance,
Get Well wishes, The club would like to extend a speedy recovery to Mary Mc Guinness who has in been in hospital as last number of weeks and hope she is home soon and feeling much better, Get well soon.
