Lotto . The Lotto draw for the week ending 20th February saw the following numbers being drawn…..16, 22, 23 and 28. The jackpot was not won and four players won fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip. The winners were Leanne Quigley, c/o The Dug Out, Eddie Byrne, Lisatillister, Patrick Doogan Burke, Drumbo and Aidan Boyle, Meath Hill
The next draw will be held on the 27th February, in the clubrooms.
New Management Team. Training continues under the new management team each week in preparation for the Senior and Reserve Leagues which will commence soon. Indeed the first set of fixtures for the Reserves has been announced and this group will take the field in the next couple of weeks. All U-21, Junior and Senior players are welcome to these training sessions.
Race Night. The club are organising a Race Night for the St. Patrick’s week-end. Sponsorship cards are now available and should be returned by March 9th. All members are asked to support this club find raiser.
Juvenile Presentation Night. The Juvenile Committee have announced that Sunday 4th March will be the evening for the presentation of medals and trophies won during 2010 and 2011. The proceedings will commence at seven o’clock and medals will be presented to the U-14, U-16 and minor teams of 2011 along with the U-16 team of 2010. The Committee looks forward to a full turnout on that Sunday night.
Coaching Courses. A Foundation Coaching course has been fixed for the 23rd and 24th March while a Level One Youth and Adult Course will take place 2nd / 3rd and 9th/10th March. Further information is available from the Juvenile or Club Secretary. The closing date for names is Wednesday 29th February.
Membership. Don’t forget that the membership fee for 2012 is now due and can be paid to any executive member. The fee is fixed at 25 euro for ordinary members and 50 euro for players. The extra fee is to cover insurance for the players. All monies must be paid by the end of March to obtain membership for 2012.
