Slotto: We had no winners at the weekend. This weekend’s jackpot is €14,300. Please note – over the Christmas holidays the slotto draw will take place on Friday 23^rd Dec and Friday 30^th Dec.

AGM: Is currently set for Sunday 8^th January at 5pm. Nomination forms will be posted out to all club members and must be returned by the date stated in order for your nominations to be put forward.

Juvenile Draw: Tickets have been circulating over the last few weeks for our Juvenile Fundraiser. Draw will take place on the night of our Annual Bazaar! This is very important for the future running of our juvenile club so make sure and support this worthwhile cause.

Sympathy: We wish to extend our sympathy to Brige McAnerney and family on the death of her Dad, Pat McFarland, Armagh .

Annual Bazaar: Takes place on Sunday 4^th December commencing at 5pm. Prizes galore to suit all ages. Spread the word and come along to support us.

Events: Irish Dancing continues every Wednesday night from 6-7.30pm. Social Dancing, every Monday night from 9-11pm. Bowls, every Tuesday from 9-11pm. Everyone welcome. Pilates takes place on Tuesday nights at 6pm and Zumba classes at 7pm. Circuit classes began last night and will continue on Wednesdays at 8pm.

Congratulations: Once again congrats to Therese Mc Nally on receiving ‘Ulster Writers Award’ at the weekend capping a wonderful year for the girls and Monaghan Ladies.

People of the Year Awards: The people of Monaghan will for the 27^th year have the opportunity to honour people who, in their own way, have made a real difference and enhanced the lives of other, whether a family member or someone in your local community. So, if you know someone who has acted above or beyond the call of duty, someone whose success has inspired a generation, someone who has made an extraordinary contribution to their community, someone whose courage and achievement has changed our society for the better, then why not nominate them for People of the Year Award. Forms can be found in the Northern Standard. The Monaghan People of the Year Awards will be held in the Hillgrove Hotel on Friday 9^th December.
