Latton GFC Notes – Week Beginning July 11th 2011

 

* Lotto

* Senior Football

The Reserves played Castleblayney in the Championship Semi-Final last night, Wednesday July 13th. Check elsewhere for result.

The Seniors produced another terrific performance last Saturday in an away victory over Clontibret on a scoreline of 0-05 to 0-16. Their next league game is this Sunday at home v Monaghan Harps at 12pm.

They play in Round 1 of the Senior Championship v Doohamlet in Ballybay on Saturday July 23rd at 7.30pm.

 

* Under 21 Football
The Under 21s played last Monday, July 11th. It was a great win at home v Killanny on a scoreline of 3-08 to 2-08 and it sees them into the league final on Monday July 25th against Killanny/Emyvale.

 

* Minor Football
The Minors play in the Championship on Tuesday July 19th v Na Fianna. The game is in Tyholland at 7.45pm.

* Juvenile Football

The Under 14s play their next game away v Inniskeen this Saturday July 16th.
The Under 16s play next on thursday July 21st at home v Castleblayney at 7pm.

* Scrap Saturday

Many thanks to all for donating generously to our Scrap Saturday fundraiser.
By popular demand, we’ve been forced to extend the collection period until this Saturday 16th. As before, donations can be left at the central collection point at Latton Centre. Alternatively any local senior footballer in your area will arrange personal collection from your home up to & including Saturday.
* Ballybay Cancer Society Weekend
This Friday July 15th – Wedding of the year! Our own Chairman, aka ‘The Professor’ is marrying ‘The Teacher’! Saturday 16th – Marquee with Karaoke Knights followed by the Fuzzy Burgers. Sunday 17th – Shorts & Shades Disco including BBQ. Please support this worthy fundraiser.

 

* August GAA Super Camp

Learn new skills at a Super Camp specifically for 13-15 year olds – boys & girls- from 2nd to 4th August. Venues are St. Macartan’s College, Monaghan & Inver College, Carrickmacross. Times 10.00am- 3.30pm. Cost: €45
