Lotto Result. The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 20th May were 2, 13, 23 and 28. The Jackpot of 7,000 euro was not won. The Lucky Dip winners were Mary McKenna, Drumbo, Francis Hanratty, Tullylougherney, James Patrick Owens and Susan McCahey, Drumbrone.
The Jackpot next week will be 7,200 euro.
Senior Team. The senior team finished their series of games last Wednesday when Scotstown were the visitors to Magheracloone. It was the visiting team that proved to be the stronger that evening and claimed the two league points on offer. This team have a break until the first of July when they travel to Ballybay.
In the meantime the Reserves also hosted Scotstown on Sunday morning and again the visiting team claimed the points. The O’Duffy Cup continued this week with a game on Wednesday evening. The league continues on next Wednesday with a game versus Monaghan Harps in Monaghan.
Juvenile News. U-12 Competition. On Saturday last Magheracloone faced Castleblayney and came away with an outstanding victory. In an all-round strong team performance, Magheracloone were victorious on the score of 3-14 to 0-2. The management team under Michael Jones will be delighted with this performance and they look forward to the next series of games.
The U-10 team faced Shercock last Thursday and again came out on top by a margin of two points.
The U-14 competition continues with a home game versus Castleblayney on 25th with a 12.00 noon throw-in.
Under 16 and Minor. The U-16 team get back into action on the 23rd with a visit to Seans while they face Latton at home on 30th June. Both games are due to throw in at 7.00.
The minor league resumes on Tuesday 28th with a home game versus Seans.
Cul Camps. Magheracloone will host the annual Cul Camp from July 25th to July 29th in the local grounds. This excellent camp is open to boys and girls from ages 5 to 13.
