Junior B’s: We played Castleblayney on Toome on Wednesday last, Blayney had a blistering start finding the net twice. Just as we were finding our feet we lost our 15th man to injury and with no substitutes we had to play the remaining 50 minutes with 14 men. We battled hard but Blayney made their extra man count. Currin where our hosts on Sunday and again we struggled for numbers. We played the first half against a strong wind and Currin made use of it leading at half-time by 7 pts. The second half saw us improve drastically and we pulled within 2 points and we had several goal chances but it was Currin who hit the back of the net and made the game safe.
